We are filling a Machine Maintenance Tech position for an Oakmont metal fabrication shop that provides custom shims and fabricated metal parts for a variety of industries. Wage range is $22-$24, based on experience. Training is provided for those that do not have Press Brake experience but show strong mechanical aptitude.

Machine Maintenance Tech Role & Requirements:

• Diagnoses or troubleshoot machines or equipment to determine malfunctions and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Performs mechanical or electrical repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment.
• Lubricates and cleans parts, installs, moves, sets-up and operates all types of equipment and machine tools.
• Performs any dismantling, fitting or assembly work required for maintenance.
• Reads blueprints, sketches, machine parts or specifications.
• Must have the ability to lift, pull and push 50+ pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend and reach.
• Read, interpret and analyze electrical, mechanical, schematics
• Intermediate level knowledge of Electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Safety oriented.
• Basic Fabrication and Mechanical measurements.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of production machines and equipment a plus.
• Must be available to work 10-hour shifts

Machine Maintenance Tech Pay and Benefits:

• Starting wage of $22-$24 based on experience.
