The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau is accepting applications for mini bus drivers to work semi part-time and on-call throughout the year. Scheduled work hours may include late afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends.
Responsibilities include: - Operating a passenger-carrying vehicle with a capacity of twenty-two persons or fewer along varying routes at varying times; - Performing checks on assigned vehicle to determine safe and proper functioning of brakes, lights, heating equipment, wheelchair lift, and tires, as well as general running condition; - Determining any maintenance and repair needs and reporting them to designated authority. *A CDL with Passenger Endorsement is required for this position.
