The Nurse Midwife will practice within a 40-bed acute-care facility. The Nurse Midwife reports directly to the Women's Clinic Medical Director and collaborates closely with OB/GYN clinicians. This role will work alongside experienced support staff and administrative personnel to ensure smooth clinic operations, while also coordinating with other clinical leaders throughout the healthcare system to provide comprehensive care. The Nurse Midwife will join a well-established Family Birth Center with an annual delivery volume of 200 births. The unit fosters a supportive and professional atmosphere, with highly skilled OB/GYN physicians, experienced nurses, and a dedicated administrative team. This Nurse Midwife will have the opportunity to participate fully in patient care, from prenatal visits through postpartum follow-up, in a unit known for its patient-centered approach and collaborative energy. Job ResponsibilitiesThe Nurse Midwife will provide full-scope prenatal, labor, and postpartum care, including primary call participation with OB/GYN clinicians. Responsibilities include patient education, mentoring, and supporting clinical competency development within the team. Administrative duties involve coordinating patient care, maintaining accurate documentation, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. This Nurse Midwife role combines clinical excellence with leadership in operational and programmatic functions.
