Human Resource Assistant The Human Resource Assistant will support the HR department in daily administrative tasks and employee-related processes. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in human resources while maintaining a flexible part-time schedule. This position is part time and temp to hire. Pay will range between $19 and $23/hr.
Responsibilities: - Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including document preparation and orientation scheduling
- Maintain and update employee records in HR systems and databases
- Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
- Help coordinate employee training sessions and track participation
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
- Prepare reports and presentations for HR meetings
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Previous administrative or HR experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
