Job Description

Human Resource Assistant

The Human Resource Assistant will support the HR department in daily administrative tasks and employee-related processes. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in human resources while maintaining a flexible part-time schedule. This position is part time and temp to hire. Pay will range between $19 and $23/hr.


Responsibilities:
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including document preparation and orientation scheduling
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems and databases
  • Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
  • Help coordinate employee training sessions and track participation
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Prepare reports and presentations for HR meetings
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Previous administrative or HR experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
