We are seeking a Physician Recruitment Coordinator to join our team. This role will involve supporting the end-to-end physician recruitment process by coordinating candidate activities, managing documentation, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment coordination, administrative support, healthcare staffing processes, and a passion for supporting physician recruitment and healthcare operations. The Physician Recruitment Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring smooth and timely recruitment workflows. As a Physician Recruitment Coordinator , you will work closely with physician recruiters and internal teams to support hiring objectives. The Physician Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for supporting all activities that contribute to the successful recruitment of physicians. This role focuses on coordinating candidate communications, managing applicant tracking and documentation, and ensuring that credentialing and reference materials are completed accurately and on time.

The Physician Recruitment Coordinator works closely with physician recruiters to monitor candidate pipelines, assist with screening and sourcing activities, and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle. This role ensures that candidates and internal stakeholders remain well informed while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with applicable employment practices. The position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, work with deadlines, and support recruitment strategies that build a qualified candidate pool.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support physician recruiters by monitoring and maintaining the candidate pool

  • Forward applications and transfer requests to hiring managers and track referral status

  • Assist with screening calls and sourcing candidates when needed

  • Prepare new hire packets and job offer or confirmation letters

  • Communicate with candidates regarding application and hiring status

  • Coordinate and track referencing and credentialing documentation

  • Conduct candidate searches within applicant databases as requested

  • Assist in planning and implementing proactive recruitment strategies

  • Coordinate recruitment advertising efforts with external agencies as directed

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information

  • Ensure recruitment data and communications are handled in compliance with guidelines and employment laws

Qualifications and Skills:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

  • Approximately 1 year of recent, relevant recruitment or administrative experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent customer service and organizational abilities

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

  • Proficiency with general computer applications and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
